Laura Wu

Hi there! My name’s Laura and I currently attend Arcadia High School in the San Gabriel Valley Area. I’m the co-lead of Everything Starts Small Los Angeles (ESS LA).

Before joining ESS, I was an admirer of nature and its flora; I often found myself captivated by the roly-polies and lilies I found through my (very serious) expeditions in local parks as a child. It wasn’t until after I joined this organization that I truly realized climate change’s potency, compelling me to take environmental action alongside my wonderful ESS peers.

Whenever I have free time, I tend to play piano, read fiction books, and practice origami.
