Ever since I was little I knew climate change was a problem, but I thought there was nothing I could do about it. I joined the ESS because I wanted to help make a difference and empower other students to do the same. I'm a huge coffee person, like multiple cups a day, and finding out used coffee grounds can be composted was shocking to me. It made me realize how many small things we do every day without even thinking about them. I want to help other people notice those same small things, because a lot of us don't realize how much impact those small steps can actually have.
