THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES PROJECT
Why?
Indigenous peoples live very sustainable and eco-friendly lives. Their lifestyles have progressed much to adapt with the changing world, but they are still very in-touch with their surrounding environments and seek to protect it. There is much to be learned from them!
Mission
The Indigenous Peoples Project aims to learn more about living more sustainable and environmental lives, specifically with the rich knowledge from indigenous peoples in Taiwan. Our members in the Taiwan branch visit Cidal Hunter School in Hualien, Taiwan, to learn more about them and to help spread their voice to the community.
Did you know?
Indigenous people conserve 80% of the world's remaining biodiversity!
